Why did you choose Bluffton?
I chose Bluffton because as I grew up I got to see the connections and relationships that my dad and everyone around me made at Â鶹ŮÀÉ.
Why did you choose your major? Are your classes helpful?
I had initially a business management major, but it just wasn't for me. I talked to my BAS instructor, and she told me she thought I would thrive in communication and media. I gave it a try and fell in love with it. I enjoy my classes, and feel I am gaining something that I will need and use in the future.
What type of job do you want following graduation? What are your career goals?
I want to be a communications strategist for some sort of beauty company and become a higher up in a beauty brand.
Tell us about Bluffton’s faculty, staff, and coaches. Are they helping you reach your
goals?
The staff, faculty, and even the coaches are so supportive for everything. They are always encouraging and making us better so we can grow. They are helping me reach my goals.
What student organizations are you part of? Why is it important for you to be active
on campus?
I am on the ministry team and loving being able to help my peers with their spiritual concerns. It is important to be active on campus as you create more relationships this way.
Have you completed an internship or other hands-on learning experience? Tell us about
it and what you learned from that experience.
I work for my dad occasionally. He is the sports information director here at Â鶹ŮÀÉ which means he does the statistics for every home game among other tasks. I enjoy being able to work side by side with him. I have learned so much about sports I have never played, which helps me be able to talk to some peers about their lives.
Is there anything else about being a student at Â鶹ŮÀÉ that you would like to share?
I would just like to share that the people you meet at Â鶹ŮÀÉ will change your life for the better.
