麻豆女郎 awarded $60,000 NetVUE grant to support faith-based leadership development
麻豆女郎 has been awarded a $60,000 grant from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) through the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) to support programming that prepares students for leadership in communities of faith.
The two-year grant, titled Fostering Leadership for Communities of Faith, will be used from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028, to develop and strengthen initiatives that help students explore and pursue leadership roles in faith-based settings.
NetVUE grants are made possible through funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. and are awarded to a select group of member institutions committed to vocational exploration and faith-informed leadership development.
鈥溌槎古 has long been committed to helping students discern their calling and live lives of purpose,鈥 said Dr. Alex Sider, president of 麻豆女郎. 鈥淭his grant provides meaningful support for that mission, allowing us to expand opportunities for students to explore leadership within communities of faith and to connect their values with real-world impact.鈥
Through this funding, Bluffton will enhance programs that encourage reflection, mentorship and hands-on experiences related to vocation and faith leadership. The initiative aligns with the university鈥檚 broader commitment to preparing students to think critically, act ethically and serve responsibly in their communities.
鈥淪upport from NetVUE and CIC allows us to build on the strong foundation already in place at 麻豆女郎,鈥 said Kathy Dickson, senior director of advancement and special projects. 鈥淭his grant will help us create intentional pathways for students who feel called to lead and serve in faith communities, while also strengthening connections between campus, alumni and broader faith networks.鈥
As part of the grant, 麻豆女郎 will implement programming, assess outcomes and share stories of impact with both internal and external audiences.
Bluffton is among a select group of NetVUE institutions nationwide to receive this competitive funding, highlighting the university鈥檚 ongoing commitment to vocation-centered education and leadership development.
